A Statement on Privacy
Maintaining one’s personal privacy on the Internet is not a simple task. Every time you visit a Website your browser shares personal information with the Web server. In addition, some Websites may use Javascript or other software to ask your browser for more information or to store a “cookie”. A “cookie” is a block of information your browser associates with a specific Website and it may hold a “login token” that shows the Website you recently logged in to their service and should therefore see whatever non-public information they disclose to you.
This Website does not create cookies. We may choose at some point to change that. Or we may choose to embed advertising that creates cookies for the use of the advertisers or their networks. In the case of advertising we probably will not have access to your browser cookie. That will be handled by the advertising system.
The Web service we use may record all visits in a special log file. We do not have access to all the hosting service’s log files.
What we promise you is that we will not sell your private data or offer it to other services except as provided above or required by law.
This privacy statement is written in good faith and according to our knowledge of all applicable laws. In the event that a legal complication arise we will of course abide by the requirements of the law. That may mean we cannot fully honor this statement of privacy as originally intended.
Some jurisdictions require more precise language in privacy statements. To the best of our knowledge this Website does not fall under any such jurisdictions.
